About The Author

Jeff Kearnan is a retired Assistant Sheriff and former Director of Emergency Services, with over 30 years in law enforcement and emergency management, including SWAT. He’s held leadership roles with the Northern California Regional Intelligence Center and served in the U.S. Air Force.

He holds degrees in Homeland Security and Criminal Justice Management, and works today as a security consultant to a leading church insurance company and expert witness in civil cases involving safety and liability.

Jeff conducts security risk assessments for Houses of Worship, corporations, and government facilities — and helps faith leaders prepare for threats with the right plans, training, and procedures.
